    2009. The URD O2 simulator didn't work great for me. (CEL once a month or so) speaking of which, its up for sale if anyone wants it.

    I get how the spacing the rear o2 sensor can avoid tripping the CEL, but I wonder if the ECU changes performance of the engine based on this modified reading.
    How does your truck run? I get how spacing the rear o2 sensor can avoid tripping the CEL, but I wonder if the ECU makes any adjustments for this modified sensor reading that will affect performance. That is, does the ECU even make adjustments from the rear o2 or is it simply a light switch?

    The truck runs great all things considered. (She is a flood victim after all) To my knowledge the rear O2 sensors don't effect performance but only monitor the health of the cats.

    Had ovtune block p0420 and p0430, they keep coming back, but its about half as often or slightly less

    Was just trying to get a better idea as to what modifications that need to be made on the front mounting bracket in order to keep the air filter from rubbing on the s/c intercooler. Also curious if you had to trim the inside of your grille for more clearance?

    I’m curious too.....I have the AFe Pro Dry S and have thought of switching to a URD Tcai. There is some trimming that has to be done right? ..to allow the tube to go through behind the grill? My other worry is moisture from rain water....

    Purple wire, with a switch, in the Tacoma. More simply, unplug the speedo, at the trans. Most complicated: get a standalone.

    His disclaimer is garbage. You can get killed at any speed, any where, with or with out a vehicle. Chance, luck, fate, or motivation set the pace for winning that race. Ha.

    I just made a cheap 2" x 4" or so angle bracket, lined up where the intake needed to be, drilled holes and installed.
    I have an aftermarket grill so mine fits even with the air filter shroud.

    I trimmed off the lower vertical supports on the factory grille for mine to fit. I didnt use the bracket it came with either. I used a bracket that I had on a previous truck. My current trd pro grille didnt need any trimming.15325801206441916379417938451333.jpg

    No rain problems here in Seattle with the urd intake. No guard, no rain sock. @JuanitoBunito its a non-critical trim. 2 minutes with a recip saw.

    Minor sheet metal cutting... dremel, body saw, simple.
    I have a grillcraft.... all i did was flip the urd brackets.
    Hell, maybe i removed 1 even
    N/a setup (normal)

    Is your s/c resivoir mounted next to the brake resivoir? Looks closer to the fender but cant tell from that angle.
