    Dang it. Wrong answer. The one I’ve got is for without steering wheel controls. Sorry man.
    I changed my airbag and added controls. That necessitated that I take out a perfectly good clockspring to change to one with more conductors.

    El Paso county does visual and OBD testing. However it is very rare to find someone actually doing the visual test.

    It would be interesting to dyno test this; a bypass of the intercooler. Id imagine, even though youre producing more boost (by bypassing the intercooler) it would yield less HP, since the compressed air is much hotter then when it goes through the intercooler.

    I wonder how good our intercoolers are? By how many degrees does the intercooler cool off the compressed air? 20 degrees? 30? 40??

    With a 2.5 pulley cruising at 75 it is a 25 to 30° temperature delta. I have seen sustained 60° delta when climbing long hills at 3 to 5psi boost.
    Our little intercooler does surprisingly well.
    I have not done any testing without the seal in place but I would guess the temperature delta would decrease by 50%.
