    In my humble opinion, reducing intake restrictions would also make significant gains to the high - end, especially if you have a tiny pulley. You’re right that there would be less parasitic drag, and that should be noticeable, but the biggest gains I would bet are seen in high-end horsepower where the airflow is highest.

    Agreed and most likely twofold. One from less parasitic drag on the sc and two from less restricted inlet flow.

    Prevents fatigue. If you can't go up a flight of stairs without breathing heavily, you probably need manifold stays.

    Seems like no benifit to removing. It's there for a reason.

    I think that any gain from removing is probably confirmation bias/butt dyno and that it just makes it harder to tune for a daily driver.

    Also like @Roostfactor has been saying, the restrictor slows the movement of the bypass valve which likely makes the valve last longer since it’s not slamming open and closed all the time.

    I’m workjng on my radio install today, but if I get done before dinner I’m going to put the orifice back in.
