    Had a little issue with the charge tubing bead, near the TB. Popped the tubing out, added a new bead a 1/4" away, further from the one close to the TB, and back on it went. 15 minute job, including prep. I love the freedom of welding!

    Now I don't have to worry about that next week. Game on Broski!

    Ok, sooooo not to rain on anyone's parade here.. and as much as I really like and can appreciate that beautiful Y-pipe... I just cant bring myself to spend the $$$$. Especially knowing it will see some abuse, and it deserves better that that.

    I want to ditch my current Y-pipe (local shop built high clearance w/ cats plus exhaust) for something with no cats. I still intend to keep my emissions legal Y-pipe.. but I want the flow of not having any cats, especially when at the sand drags. I currently have the URD equal lengths, into mentioned y-pipe with cats, into 3" with Borla and Magnaflow mufflers. Love the sound and volume currently, I know it will change, that's not a concern here.. I cant seem to find a shop willing to make me one.. due to emissions. I see AFE makes one.. at roughly 500 bucks. Super tempting, but I still think a shop can make me one for less. I don't need anything fancy, I know it will get abused.

    I'm also wondering if it will free up enough flow to solve this surging issue I've been encountering..

    I told y’all, the JFR tuned equal length y-pipe is no joke. Right up there with the supercharger, flip a coin. It gurgles too. With the 50 degree temperatures for the first time, the top end is crazy. Once the power band hits it’s just a smooth, very hard pull til redline. It wants more, but it shifts.

    I totally understand bro. Trust me, I never had any intention of making more than one for myself. Then @loginfailed didnt like the way his exhaust sounded with the URD so I hooked him up. Shortly after @White lightning boosted wanted one and others just started showing interest.
    A few of the members have seen part of the process making it and afterward said HOLY SH÷! I had no idea how much work and time went into making it.

    I highly doubt a muffler shop can make anything close to it mandrel bent. Even with mild steel. Also dont miss the most important point. The length of the pipe is VERY important along with the merge collector.

    You dont just take two pieces of pipe and half ass try to make equal length with crush bends and a standard collector. Will it work? Yes it will let exhaust out but nowhere near the efficiency and as a byproduct a super bitchen exhaust note.

    I took no offense to your concerns and fully understand.

    A lesson I learned in exhaust. Having custom work done is VERY expensive. Few will even do it. It's far cheaper to buy premade when possible. I spent 800 having muffler forward welding done.
