I appreciate the input man!

I should clarify tho... I'm not looking for a copy or even a close representation of yours at all.. I should have been more clear. I just want a catless Y-pipe... not equal length, not mandrel bent, nothing fancy. Just what I have now, but without cats.

The thing is, it will still cost you $$$ and wont do much if anything for you performance wise unless your current cats are restrictive.

Might as well buy @ThomasMore66 ceramic coated y-pipe so he can get what he really wants even though he doesnt know it yet.

I know it will... And yes.. that is why I want to go catless... I believe they are due to this surging issue I've been having under WOT. No CELs, Everything else checks out.. air/fuel, checked for vacuum leaks, changed gas, removed snorkel, they only thing I haven't tried is no cats (seeing if they're restrictive).

I had my current exhaust built (several times over trying to find what I liked) locally cheaper than buying elsewhere, and has worked for me and my uses. Is it the optimum setup? No.. but idc and it works and see's abuse so Im ok with it not being "perfect".

    Here’s a dumb question.

Would there be any point in me running an equal length y pipe when my headers are not equal length?

Couldn’t go with the URD headers because of my coil tower gussets. Went with DT long tubes & pipebomb.

Not a dumb question. In theory you would be balancing left and right engine banks. I would if I were in your place.

You have to upload to youtube or another platform, can’t upload to tacomaworld.
I have shorties that aren’t equal length with cats and I noticed a big difference still.

It’s not too bad if you have a google account, just login to it on youtube.com then there is a button to upload. Also they have a mobile app to upload videos with called I think YouTube Studio
