TRD/ Magnuson 4.0 Supercharger Tips, Tricks, and Mods

So I got my sensor put in finally to get all 4 of my gauges up and running together.

Looks awesome. Sensory overload. Too bad you never drive it.

 

Anyone no off hand what the size hose for the supercharger coolant?

 

If we cut it... That shape is better fit being an oval. Then more circular for air intake

 

And how much actual improvement would you see?

 

That’s a good question. But your taking out distance and about 180 degrees of turns for the air go through to hit the inner cooler. I would think much better throttle response and peak boost at much lower rpm.

 

Unknown at this time.
Improvement would be throttle response due to tb being closer to the sc rotors and top end because of reduced sc induced vacuum in the intake.

 

Easier to add a little NOX...

 

Me too, all done...........until after hunting season. Then I am going to play with the rear suspension, look at the quickchange 2.7? pulley, Roostfactor pulley wrap, and maybe start toying with the extra transmission I have. I gotta do something since my truck thinks it is stock again after the Ucon.

Ok heres a questions for everyone. Icebox under the hood on the pass fender. Or bigger icebox in the bed. Because racetruck. I also don’t haul anything. So don’t care about that.

 

Bed, and tonnaue... Seen it yrs ago in a mag

 

Bed. Keep as much room under the hood as possible for whatever else you dream up.
