Regardless of what causes it, I’ve accepted it as normal operation since it’s happened since I bought the truck as a CPO with 24k miles on it.

And that last comment was a joke for those who don't understand my sarcastic deadpan style jokes.

It’s sad that this even has to be said or happen.

Exactly. This thread has remained very informative, entertaining, and civil for the last 428 pages and it is my intention to keep it this way for an indefinite amount of time.

You're good man. I was personally joking. :)

13 years we’ve lived in this house. This year for the first time my wife decides we need a sign in the yard. Neighbors put out two for the other guy. We haven’t spoken since.

I like this thread. We can talk about lots of things, but that one causes riots. It shouldn’t. I voted too.

    Alright..

The reason I haven't really posted this or explained it is because its honestly really lame...:notsure: It was one of, if not the first times out. We were stoked and recorded some videos that one night. It's not a good selection of races.. Most of the "good" races have happened since then and off camera. Once we went a few times, it got around and soon we were racing the big dogs and getting called out. I need to get up to date videos. We've ran at least 6-8 times since.. Running against built Diesels, 4wd buggies, etc. all good people. some shit talking.. but all in all good fun. most people come up and ask whats in it and then we talk and end up racing. sometimes you know before and can prepare.. sometimes you find out after what its got... lol People usually end up the latter.. and either get embarrassed or mad that a Taco beat em. You get to high five the crowd watching along the return lane.. meeting fans and enemies.. its definitely fun.. and addicting. I've had people come up to me and say "I've seen you at the Drags". It's just fun and exciting to me as its my first exposure to anything race related. lol

This was when I had the 2.8 (5-6lbs), Valve Body and factory gearing. With RTT and an empty roof rack. Anywhere between 2-4 people riding. Launching in 4wd

Now I have a 2.6 (10-11lbs), Valve Body and 4.56's with more gear (weight). I weigh around 5600 daily.

    Run 1)
4wd Dodge Diesel with a tune, maybe exhaust.

    Run 2)
2wd Dodge Dually Diesel.. idk what.. it was hilarious.

    Run 3)
4wd Taco loaded with girls and with idk what. lol

    Run 4)
4wd Chevy with a Race Motor/Trans and possibly a shot.. Its a group from down south that always show up. They must have a race team south of the border or somethin.. the vehicles are all fully built, cam'd, with Liveries in Spanish. lol I've raced this guy, the Cherokee in that other video with apparently a shot, and a retarded 4 linked Comanche with a cam'd race motor. they won.. but not by much...

    Run 5)
    2wd chevy.. good dudes. lol

    Run 6)
Ecoboost with a tune. (he leaves early.. ) We've raced him multiple times since then, and we've traded back and forth. But I havent lined up with him since the 2.6 and re-gear.

Makes me wish I lived down there. I would love to run them against that pimped up Chevy with the race motor/trans and walk away from them. :D

God I miss racing! I'm about to go on a date on Sunday and we are going to race before we go out for the day. The girl I'm going to race has a Supercharged Mini Cooper S. I told her she is going to be crying once she loses.

Nobody wants to race me around here. Everyone thinks I'm just a lowly slow truck. Until I rev on them. Then their look changes. Hahaha.

Keep in mind stock manifolds are double wall and aftermarket headers are thin single wall. There will be SOME exhaust pulse resonance.
    Video will def help.
