One time she walked in the front door with a bag of groceries and was like " safe to say your STI is slower than a Cobalt SS" another time she went to pick up the dog from the kennel and walked in the front door and said "safe to say your truck is faster than a SQ5"

They're out there. Like mine that said she wanted a s/c for her 4Runner after trading with me one day and driving the truck. She opted for the ring first, but says she still wants a s/c one day

 

Maybe its region specific. My truck repels women. Maybe it's the color, or a lack there of.

 

I've noticed that the default is women don't care, and if they care, they are repelled. Most of the time. The ones that care and like it are outliers.

 

Mine wants one for hers as well. She already has DT headers and a volant intake mostly due to the V8's notorious stock manifold crack issue and intake due to Jason at T4r with Burtman industries being awesome, selling them for stupid cheap at $230 or other.

 

I'll be lucky if I can meet someone like that! i'm a car nut, so hopefully I can stumble upon someone else that likes them too..

Yes it is. I sometimes get mileage in the double digits.

 

Lol, I actually get better gas mileage on the hwy with the s/c than before. prior to install I was getting like 15-16 hwy, now I can get 17-18. I do have a 6spd though, so idk if that makes a difference. Around town though, it's in the 12-13 range

 

I'm lucky if I get 10mpg in the city. If I drive as carefully as possible I get 17mpg on the highway though.
