I cut it about an inch away from the mount bracket. My thinking was leave enough of a surface to clamp it back together if I failed. I had to bend the ac line just a bit but nothing major. Inside of radius measures 4 1/4"15418134643801885383250387390994.jpg

There should be no reason to do so as the gaskets are rubber.

Absolutely! We didnt replace the injector insulators as those are under a year old but did replace lower intake manifold gaskets (metal gaskets) and s/c to lower intake manifold gaskets. Tb gasket was still good as well because it doesnt see as much heat.

Good question and I should have checked but didnt.

Looking at the lower intake manifold and from memory how much the injector sticks out past the rubber isolator I would say the nozzle is about flush with the opening. Maybe slightly protruding.

This is the old manifold. I had pre ported @5thGearPinned manifold to put on @loginfailed and I originally got a spare off ebay. I will now keep this one to port for future use or sale.

I have a question, I just bought this steeda tensioner arm with pulley. It won't fit because of this black tab. Can I cut it off. Also the pulley is bigger than the stick one, will it hit on the crankshaft pulley or when the belt is put on the tension will keep it away. I dont have the original pulley because it fell off when the arm snapped. Thanks

That black piece is the spring steel. So don’t cut it off too short. You’ll need the stock pulley. If you don’t have it, the op has links to some alternatives I think in the first post.

While I wouldn’t advise this for the long run, you could go to Napa and ask them to find you a idler pulley. The supercharger turns a lot of rpm’s so you can’t use it an normal idler for a long time, but it would get you through the weekend.

Stock idler is about 2-1/8” od. But a 2” od would be good

ok, so try to find a pulley and change it over to the steeda I showed. I have bully dog tune. Can you remove the tune and drive it as normal or does bully dog have to remove it through their computer. Or can you even remove it. Thanks

Once you have BD, you’ll always have BD. Can get rid of it. Unless you replace the ecu

That's what I thought. I couldn't remember. So the stock pulley is 50 mm.

You can drive the truck without the supercharger. You just won’t have boost. It’s safe to drive like that.
