Mm... based on the feedback we have been receiving so far I would say Roush is the solid contender everything on it seems to be thicker as a whole so failure point seems to be misnomer on those units in comparison to our stockers.

My respect to the OE units. They are quite the capable items, but the trouble with them is they can go in a moments notice, without a yet determined cause of failure.

 

Running 2.6 pulley. Beat the crap out of truck and haven’t had anything break.

 

Need to swap the pulley over.

I just had the inlet and outlet ported on my TRD supercharger with full rebuild and got it back yesterday.
Excited to see what horse power gains And added boost I get from porting. I’m at 10 pounds now,
Hopefully I will have a little more boost
But definitely significantly reduced iat’s for more timing = more power
Painted the supercharger last night and will install it today.

Running stage II snow methonal kit
Running 2” pulley
Ported supercharger

You probably should run a 2 or 3 number nozzel.

I have a progress kit that starts to spray at 4 pounds spraying up to 10 pounds, now will adjust it for the new boost from porting.

An AFR guage will work

Or do a dyno test to see you print out for where your AFR is.

Will Depend on if your at sea level or high altitude and boost you have.

 

Have progressive, #3, starts at 3lbs, sea level, and dual afr's. No dyno yet. Custom tune soon.

Are you running a stock throttle body? Or something larger?

 

Yes it’s stock, will have it bored out probably in spring when I can give up driving it for a few weeks to have it done and the supercharger inlet intake needs to be ported if I do that too where the throttle body connects

 

For sure! Once I get my issues sorted out, that will be one of the first things I do now that my clutch will hold the added power

 

Unless you changed the gearing, or pulley size, I would think your boost readings would go down a bit? By porting the supercharger, you’re removing restrictions and allowing more flow on the discharge. The reduced restrictions could net you out reduced psi, but also significantly reduced iat’s which would be great.

 

Will see, either way, significantly less heat equals more timing equals more power.

 

Loose nut behind the wheel is the cause of all that.
