For the SC guys that want to go up a size...

These 61 lb injectors will fit and work on the 1GR. But you'll need the little adapter harnesses.

In that case if they keep the injectors you'll need a set. New belt and plugs ikh 22 or 24. Check the rotor tips for wear as well as the gear set. New oil. There are rebuild kits for the minimum rebuild as well as a full resto that included new rotors.

The injectors are included as seen in pics... He is including the plugs but I will be getting new ones.

So looks like a full rebuild is around 800$ with rotor (doubt it needs that but like to plan for the worst) IF thats the case, and including new plugs, and belt, I would still be around half the cost of a new one, I guess everyone has a different sense of value, but this seems like a no brainer to me, maybe there is something I am missing?

I don't see the lower radiator hose or the thermostat extension & a bunch of hardware.
you are going have an issue.
See if you can find the install manual & you will have a better idea of what you should have with the kit.

    My shit is all stock.
Many parts missing in these pics. Center latch support, upper pulley bracket, thermostat housing relocation tube and spacers/bolts. I wouldn’t worry about the hoses and the belt. You’d be replacing that stuff anyway like the spark plugs.

If you can pick it up dirt cheap, and you trust that the guy is being honest about the blower itself being ok, I’d say buy it.

You can get any type of injectors reflowed to any spec you'd like for cheaper than what it would cost for these injectors. Even our TRD orange injectors.

I would much rather have a true plug and play design over bolt on, adapt on and maybe play on design.

IMO for the amount of work involved with a s/c instillation, if your not going do a part for part replacement with the seller, then be prepared for a problems. a lot of the parts are not available by them selves & along with finding a particular part number for a missing part, it will be a major pita.
If you can get the blower it self for a good price, then I would just pay for a new fit kit & I know at least I have all the parts.

The install manual with parts list was very helpful, if IF the guy doesn't have ALL of the parts Im sure I can negotiate some more... What would you consider a good price for just the supercharger assuming it needs a rebuild as Im probably just going to rebuild it anyways.

That is an option. Take the injectors off. Ship them out or take them wherever to have it done. Wait with no injectors. Then put them back on. That may not be an option for some people, if it is their daily driver. How much money did they actually save?

Buying new, one could also return to their original setup later on (if needed). After installing the new ones, they could keep the originals for a period of time to ensure they have a backup set in case there is an issue with the new setup. Then they could sell the old injectors if they wanted. Make a few bucks back or even come out ahead of the re-flow option.

Lots of options, and best one is different for each situation.

I wonder if you have the stock injectors if you could reflow those and keep the orange ones as backup. I know nothing about reflowing injectors and how sucessful it is or how much they can increase the flow rate.

That is true. I know all about the daily driver situation, as this one is mine..

If you live in or close to a major city there are usually fuel injection services available. Whether or not reputable, idk. Lol. Regardless, like in my case I know there is one local to me in the bay area and I could have them back within one business day for sure. They definitely offer reflowing services for injectors to match the CC size you desire.

Sky is the limit on how much they can increase the flow rate. You could use any style injector to get the amount of flow you desire. The only difference is color in the situation you are talking about.

I just did not too long ago. So I screwed myself, but luckily a set of 6 are cheap enough to buy. I am actually seriously considering going down this route as it would be an inexpensive plug and play swap which would allow me suffice fueling at the boost levels I want to run.

I'm just a fan of direct bolt on, and/ or plug and play parts. The less adapters, splicing, modifying etc. involved for me, the better.

So If a whole new one from URD is 5 grand(a little on the hi side) i think i've seen them cheaper, then if you could get just the blower for a grand or less, you have the $800 for the rebuild & say about a grand for a fit kit, you will have a new setup for under 3 grand. just my thoughts.
