@Skootter14 - Thanks - Appreciate that. I've done all the obvious stuff (removing the tank and getting the fuel pump assy out of the tank) I'm looking how to do the UPGRADE - stuff this 10 lb pump (new, upgraded pump) into the 5lb bag (the OEM plastic housing). Thanks again.

it is larger, but will fit - no issues. I think other members have used that same AEM pump. you really just metal zip tie to the wall of the "cup" after cutting two slits in the cup. the URD install kit has pictures and everything of what exactly to do. Cant find the instructions right now, may have thrown them away after I did the install (also another good reason to go with the URD upgrade kit, but I know you're passed that bridge haha).

Sorry to everyone for making this a "thread jack" for a little bit. We took the convo to PM to avoid anymore prolonged talk of fuel pumps

    Hey, I resemble that remark.

Yeah I tried that method and just kept breaking teeth off the damn ring. Ended up taking an uber to the hardware store to pick up a pair of these:

Also if it helps this is how my fuel pump sat in my 2nd gen:

I use a large flat head screw driver. Marking the location prior to looseing. Then carefully tap it free.

If you have access to a welder, that tool I made took all of 15 minutes to make and it worked perfectly. I am confident it will make installation a breeze too. :)

That does - Thank you very much. :)

No problem, and unfortunately a welder is not on my list of tools currently. I've only got a remote single car garage and my complex would be pretty upset if I was pulling that much power lol.

Sucks that broke some off. I guess I got lucky? I hit softly and not near the outside of the teeth, where I figured they’d be weakest in order to prevent that. Hopefully i won’t need to do it again and worry about it!

Have any of you guys with a urd ypipe and a 3” exhaust been having any issues with the cat back rubbing on the carrier bearing cross member?1F465548-4C71-4A33-9842-C6172EAB9498.jpg
At super low rpm, usually when I’m turning and just creeping up I am getting vibration. Just started happening after I installed my ypipe. I figure if anyone here would have any ideas as to why this is happening it would be yall in this thread.

What type of headers do you have?

Jba shortie headers with the cats welded on.
And the shop that installed them forgot to install the driverside support that mounts to the transmission. I plan on buying that from toyota to see if it makes a difference

I'd bet good money, that is a good portion of the reason why things are so close now.

Makes me sad because it would cost too much $$ than I am willing to change them out. I guess BFH is going to have to make a visit appearance.

Too bad you don't have a welder and a band saw. The gap of a 90% cut through the bends in the headers, would be about 1/16". Welded back together, and you'd have your clearance.
