    We had to send one to PSE to be completely rebuilt. Guy traded his truck in with a new stealth pulley on it. And it was not lined up quite right, wasn't quite on all the way. And the s/c made some horrible noises. He said he was trading it in because he just needed a Tundra. After he got his truck and I called him to question him about the stealth pulley he soon realized that I knew what I was talking about and admitted he didn't read the instructions on the pulley before attempting to install it and just used a deadblow hammer to put it on as far as he could get and it didn't sound right so he used that as an excuse to his wife to get a tundra. PSE had to rebuild the whole thing. Pretty much new everything and we got a $2400 bill to make it all work right. And PSE would not install anything other than a factory pulley on it. This was about 7 years ago and getting just a pulley from Toyota was a PITA. But yeah, don't install the pulley with a deadblow. It moves the rotor pack into the housing and creates issues.

    Yeah, when he ordered his pulley he opted to not get the install tool. He said he didn't think it could be that tight of a fit. They were just trying to sell him extra stuff.

    It has been so far... nothing too serious yet thank god. I just hope we don’t pull hose cuz if we do we’re getting wet....then we are fucked!!

    I think it’s reccomended to, but I am just gonna do an add shot! I mean meth injection of course. I think that will be more than enough to handle everything. Maybe run the FPR mod, but only if completely necessary

    If.....IF i went to smaller pulley I’d go to a 2.7 and a smaller belt cuz it’s needed. However, I wouldn’t do it if I had to swap out injectors and or anything else.

    i didnt but im running methanol injection. My IDC was still in the 90s with meth. AFRs looked good though

    It's more of a problem for people running the UCon (which recommends using the stock fuel pressure) or who dont want to run the FPR mod. Your AFRs should be plenty rich with a 2.7 and the FPR mod.

    To answer your question. I swapped when going down to a 2.6, and im running the UCon
