    I know our trucks aren't sports-car fast, but a Maserati SUV just pulled up next to me at the light and I knew they were gonna jump it and try to merge in front of me. The Taco was slower BUT quick enough that they had to give up and get behind me :bananadance: :burnrubber:

    thats all I care about with my truck.. how quick it is. and its damn quick for a truck. purpose built for the quickness, launches, and the occasional drag/race.

    thanks man. I appreciate that. :cheers: I have tossed around the idea.. but then I gotta store em and all that. It would be nice to go down a size or two for the sand drags.. but.. the extra width and aggressive tread pattern does help with traction.

    Thanks man, Original 327 small block but I just redid the top end with an all aluminum Edlebrock topend kit. Plus, msd box, Be Cool radiator catch can and electric fan set up, Holly 750 AN fuel line and fuel pump,new torque converter to original power glide....lotsa new stuff....

    Sorry man. You could have a machine shop mill in a new key way on them 177 degrees out from the stock one.....Probably a lot less $ than trying to find the URD or APR ones.

    Updated to re reflect the angle listed on URD's website as 3 degrees retarded

    I don't want to over simplify it, but the teeth on the gears are identical, and the key way is cut 3 degrees beyond the alignment marks that align with the stock key way.

    Updated to reflect the angle listed on URD's website as 3 degrees retarded!
