Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
Could be caked on dust that appears to be rust. That is way too much moss on a rolling stone if it is rust.

I can't leave anything well enough alone
rust. Look at the bottom of the airbox, and other bolts / hardware around. Rust. And that engine compartment has clearly been pressure washed, and the blower wiped down with something to make it look purdy. No way in hell he would leave mud on the pulleys like that.

That is a good point. It is a bit peculiar considering the area he lives in is ot close to the ocean. Maybe he used to live in the salt belt or something? If not, it is possible he did live by the ocean.

Yes, but I’ve already got the 1fz sold. I’m ready for more hp. It’s a wonderful truck, but when you're in the slow lane with big rigs on every hill, you want powah. If it’s selling for 1750, something is wrong.

Thank you. That’s what I was looking for. Lol.

We think the PO’s head gasket repair didn’t clean out the oil pan and that’s why there was still water in the oil. Bearing wear is real, but not catastrophic. It’s just not boost-worthy without a full rebuild. That’s $$ on a 1fz. You can buy a short block for $4K from Toyota, but that doesn’t change hp.

I think a hellcat swap would do nicely as well. Smaller pulley of course.

Well...contacted that company about the gauge mirror and they don’t have any replacement glass for my application. Next idea would be PLX to my old iPhone 6 with some solid windshield mount. That stealthy enough?
