    I’ve rarely heard about coil pack issues on Tacoma’s.

    Accel supercoil?

    I went denso on my other car. At least 2/8 were made in Taiwan. The rest were made in Japan. Will be going NGK next time around.

    I replaced my coil packs with denso's from rockauto. Mine ended up not being bad, just eliminated them as a variable while troubleshooting

    It looks like the NGKs are actually a lot cheaper than the Denso. Why isn’t anyone using the $10 economy coils :rofl:

    Access run too hot and will burn out quickly. Part of this is also due to the fact that they are now made in China and no longer in America.

    I have been down this road before in the secondary ignition department with this truck. Stick to OE.

    Started some porting. Gotta try to do some more and get it all polished. Has anyone taken the super charger apart and done any porting and polishing?     Picked up this 3.5" maf housing with air straightener and was able to get my hands on another AFE maf tube to cut up for this housing. For anyone else who wants to try this, below are the part # for the TRD tube and couplers. Not too expensive as another option to cut and fit with a housing like this.
    Ultimate goal is better tuning.

    I’m still going with a OVTune. Not that I think they’re amazing but the local shop I work with is working with them now and will, supposedly, at some point have some custom tuning ability.
