    Walbro 255lph.

I have an AEM 320lph and some bigger injectors on hand to be installed when I get time, but the Walbro is doing fine.

So what codes were you getting with the TRD reflash that you don’t get with a stock ecu on the ucon?

No codes. I just said no CELs due to having no cats, since the UCON handles that.

It was a serious question. Griffin doesn't know the stock pump is unsuitable for even OE standards let alone boosted applications.

He is a newbie to the boosted world, let him get his feet wet.

Let me try again... What problems were you having with the TRD reflash you don’t have with the stock ecu pertaining to the ucon

In boost, the truck was slower than not in boost.

TRD flash messes with the cam angles and limits what the UCON can do.

In the uTune software, if you do a data log on a stock ECU the cam angles will around 5 or less. On the TRD flash they were around 23 if I remember correctly. @jojotoo had the same problem, if I remember correctly...

This pic is at with the stock ECU @ WOT just before gear change. Should look like this:

Never heard of this from the original ucon batches. But the newer ecu models 2009+ did change including the TRD reflash. If anyone has high standards on how FI engines should run, getting a ucon to perform properly on a consistent basis is difficult to say the least

Glad things are working out for you

Thanks, I’ve had no issues to speak of since pairing the UCON with a stock ECU. Despite the initial hiccups due to the TRD flash, the UCON is doing exactly what I was told it would do.

Yeah.. had the same cam angle issue with the Mag tune and my throttle was limited to 80% when peddle was to the floor.
TRD reflash seems consistant across the board.. but the Mag tune is very inconsistant from one user to another.
BD is just a device to reflash.. Tune is provided by magnuson.

the TRD flash has never been consistent.
generally rich (safe)..............but not consistent, check xru for variances over the years.

I had a very lean TRD flash. I still don’t know what’s wrong with it. Glad I burned it to the spare ECU and I had a possibility to change it back to stock.

Lol, actually I am very familiar with the stock fuel pump as I have a AEM 320lph waiting to be installed right now. Just very interested in what everyone is running and what does or doesn't work:D
Also he didn't say in his post that he had an aftermarket fuel pump....
