    Changed the oil yesterday with the bigger oil filter and 6qts of oil. Felt so wrong putting in that much. Drove 20miles and nothing bad happened. Also changed the rear diff. Oil didn't look bad at all.

    Also tried lightly sanding the dipstick to get it to read better, but all that accomplished was getting oil to stick wherever it was sanded. Soooo that doesnt work just FYI.

    @BassAckwards So funny how different out trucks are. I can start off in 4th and never have to shift. Will hit the speed limiter in 4th. Can hit 100 in 3rd

    Yep, ive got 4.10s in mine, so thats the biggest difference. Thats crazy! Im at redline in 3rd at 80mph. Have to be in 4th to get over 100

    All this time I thought xrunners had 3.73
    My wheels are 255/55r18
    And shifts to redline are 30 60 90 at 5500
    They use to be 35 65 95 with 6200

    Im still using Ucon but had Scott lower the limiter to 5500. Do you know if the CEL kicks on when approaching redline? I noticed mine did this today, but AFRs were nice and rich on both banks 10.5-10.8 and the Guardian didn't kick in. Did the same thing in 3rd and 4th gear

    So ... does this mean my stock sensor reading through the OBD2 should be within about 0.5 of actual afm? If it’s that close and I’m on the rich side anyway it’ll be good peace of mind.

    Since changing my plugs out, the truck runs so much smoother and I am no longer blowing soot out of the tailpipe at start up. Hmmmmm need to run a can of 44K through it now and see if I can clean up all the carbon that has to be in my heads and maybe I can get a little more power and mpgs out of this ole girl. But also really need to fix my driveline thunk on start and stop. I hope it is a warn slip yoke and not a bad gear mesh on the 4.88's. Someone had a really nice new driveline built on here that I thought was pretty active. You out there? Where did you have it made? Tom Woods is only 2 hours away but I am not sold on the 1 piece with the amount of offroading I do. My 2 piece has pinstripes and dents.

    Yes, the check engine light is the shift light. Very weird feature on my automatic.....I never like seeing the CEL while on a high rpm pull!

    Yes the CEL should briefly light up at redline for every gear.

    Installed the AFE Momentum GT CAI yesterday. It is massive. Like huge. Here's the filter compared to the K&N I was running

    So to fit it into the engine bay, you have to move the secondary air pump back behind it. Not a huge fan of this location. Not a huge fan of this horrid pump at all really. I'm not really a looks snob when it comes to my truck, but dear lord that secondary pump is an eye sore.
