    Directly above the aluminum bumper support. Have it positioned horizontally now instead of vertical. I'll shoot some pics tmrw.
    Pretty happy how things fit now. Braided lines dont bend so tight.

    If it’s larger in diameter than the aFe you were using (or stock), it should calibrate to read higher than 324.

    Afe is 3" I think. Maybe a little under. I have 3.5" now. Will need to coordinate with you when I install. Cutting the afe as it reaches the bell near the filter will be a one shot deal!

    Asking for a friend: does the X-runner need to upgrade the oil pan (i.e., to the 4x4 pan) before doing runs at the drag strip?

    Yes.

    There are a few options. Weld in a inch tall stip of material.

    Then there this the @Coupe spacer, with spacer for the sump. If he still makes them?
    It spaces the lower oil pan from the upper oil pan.

    Replace upper oil pan with 4x4, then lower 4x4 pan as well.

    Sorry. At a drag strip, nah. Just make sure the oil is to the top mark on the dip stick.

    That’s comforting coming from you man. I thought it was realistic since URD claims 250 with their stage 4 kit, and I’m going above and beyond that.

    A titanium valvetrain was always one of the most ideal ways to increase redline capabilities safely without inducing valve float on the LS engines back when I was in the muscle car world. It was an expensive mod, however, was well worth the trouble and results.

    The only issue with doing such a mod is it requires extensive work for said results. If you have major engine troubles though, this would be an excellent "while I'm in there" sort of upgrade.

    It would be well worth investigating to see if dimensionally, the 1GR valves and these valves match up.

    Might I suggest for max #s on a n/a build to tune for the highest possible quality fuel.
