    Good grill. Allows a good amount of flow.

    Have you checked to make sure you are full on coolant?

    Summer road temps on a highway can easily get up to 120°+ in the desert regions. No shade trees on the roadway.
    I-10 here easily gets 110°. My Bimmer has a low mounted external air temp sensor.

    I didn’t have a ton of success with the fan clutch mod. Made it spin more than stock, which probably helped some but not enough to be noticeable. I’ve been satisfied with my e-fan setup though. Makes changing belts and stuff a breeze.

    Ditto. E-fan is one of my favourite mods, of the mods that don’t explicitly make the truck faster anyways.

    ^I love my efan setup too! Access to belts is supreme. Temperature control is great. I just went wheeling last week and I didn't have to listen to the engine fan throwing air around like normal. It was super composed the whole time.

    I wasn't pulling the fan clutch, but the shroud and tensioner proximity made things tight for the supercharger belt removal. Now it's all open air. So much room for activities!

    Looks good. I have to loosen the bolts on the fan but i dont need to remove it completely. I have the roush tensioner

    Spals are about the best on the market. I wanted to use a PWM controller (autocoolguy) and I DO get some buzzing and vibrations at certain speeds. At this point I've got it optimized to where the vibrations are absolutely minimal and the fan noise is next to nothing!

    If you run a simple relay and temperature switch, then there would be zero issues with this. Many folks have good experiences with mark 4(?) fans from a Furd if I'm not mistaken. If you're attached to running a clutch fan, you can always add a pusher fan out front if you have space in your heat exchanger stack up.

    I would just disconnect the fan from the pump pulley to push it forward a bit. Gave me enough room to be comfortable. But the e-fan allows me to actuate the tensioner from the top of the engine bay now, which is really great for convenience and speed of installing belts.
