Not sure except that it's an Atkinson cycle engine based on a prius tech if that tells you anything

 

I unfortunately did. It got stolen out of my truck a few months ago. Not that it was very useful anyway

 

Agreed. I get why he's doing it. The 3rd gens are so popular if he can be the first with a reliable TT setup and tuning he has a huge market with no competition

Perhaps, but I'd do a LOT better job of MAKING REALISTIC PROMISES and MANAGING CUSTOMER EXPECTATIONS. I respect Mat's skills, but they don't involve either of those things.

 

I built this bible and experimented with crap ton of these mods before many others if any did. My game has been stepped up plenty long ago. Whatchu talkin' bout Willis?

Oh yeah, I forgot about that stuff, exhaust, y pipe and HPT, honestly I can't remember.. the mod list is in my build which is linked in my sig. Lol.

Hands down 2nd gens are better suited to make plenty of reliable power. Besides, we'll max out the TRD blower then go whipple. I'd love to get financing in order to develop it for all of us.

If you want to build a reliable truck that will stand the test of time, you do not turbocharge it. I keep saying it and I feel like a broken record, but I can't stop harping on it because I can't wait to see all the turbo 3.5L trucks grenaded due to severe duty towing situations, extreme wheeling, and just general racing around.

We will all point and laugh when it starts to happen.

And then when OV cannot pay for the damages incurred to said trucks and winds up closing up shop we will be seeing a situation JUST LIKE Pelfreybilt all over again.
