    Other than @loginfailed does anyone else have an electric fan installed? Anyone seen this kit https://www.lceperformance.com/Elec...MIl5rzg-fn4wIVQ5yzCh0eTQPNEAQYAiABEgKo6PD_BwE

    I just put the CSF radiator in and it solved the overheating issues completely at speed but at idle and slow speeds I still need moar! Going slow up the trails I can see engine temps drop 2-4 degrees just by stomping on the gas to get that mechanical fan going a little quicker. I am convinced that an electric fan that is full power regardless of speed would help my offroad trips

    I have an e fan. Although it’s a champion four core radiator made for an impala. I bought it from ledfoot racing and it came with a fan and a shroud. I had to replace the fan though, the fan that came with it was a really cheap one and I kept overheating. Replaced with A Spal fan and it’s been good.

    Not offhand but you can change the mechanical fans properties by changing fluid viscosity, volume, and engagement temp.
    I played with it a bit but ultimately went with the Mark VIII efan.

    I can’t remember the model or output that I bought. I just bought the 16” Spal fan that had the highest CFM possible.

    I'm curious how the stock alternator handles this. Yes, it frees up drag from a mechanical fan but it's a heavier load on the charging system. Looks nice. I wanted to get an electric fan out of a Lexus and fit that. Keep it OEM-ish. Genuine Toyota parts tend to have better build quality than some aftermarket ones.

    No problem. I also put a slightly smaller pulley on my stock alternator to boost low rpm/idle output.

    I integrated my Mark VIII fan and should into a stock FJ shroud so it looks stock. You cant even see the fan in the shroud.
