it's a combustion waste gate assembly. it was only 4k .

Oh boy. My ex asked what a turbo was because her car had one, I think I lost her when I said “well it bolts to the...”

I have a love interest right now, she seems interested in most things I talk about but I don’t think she’d be into my rambling about cars. Nor chains. But when a woman doesn’t run the other direction because she finds out I’m an engineer that’s a pretty good start.

 

Thanks brother, and yep, running the infamous UCon. Seems to be working well with my setup, also running an HP tuned ECU with it to delete the SAI system. For the exhaust i'm running URD equal length headers into a JFR equal length y-pipe into a 3" aFe side exit catback. Also have a separate TRD catback with an extra borla pro xs muffler, but I run that on road trips mainly when I don't want to listen to the drone of the aFe lol

 

RR racing makes the adapter so waiting to hear back. Most likely they will need to make a new one.

 

excellent choice for exhaust. I haven't been disappointed one day since doing mine. incredibly expensive modifying the y-pipe though. but totally worth it.
