TRD/ Magnuson 4.0 Supercharger Tips, Tricks, and Mods

I am cutting out the factory brace now and replacing with round tubing through the frame and hangers. I am also building a dual battery tray for back instead of inside the cab as well.

Round tubing would be much easier to source and bend around a spare. Most people don’t buy square tubing dyes.

 

yes. I was thinking about cutting and welding sections of square stock.

 

You can have square tube bent cheaply at ornamental Fence suppliers.

 

Way behind on taco world. Doing tundra mods and now need to do some sxs mods... but can anyone tell me. I wanna do the 2.3 pulley and do the @BillDaCat8 pulley wrap. What size belt do I need. And anyone know was size pulley that is?

Interesting. I wouldn’t say it was easy, but it wasn’t too bad imho. And I have uca gussets in the way as well. But a good mod nonetheless.

 

I only worked on the passenger side. Easy peasy except the top left bolt. Its still not in and I cant work on it til the weekend
