    Here’s the snags I hit today installing my boost and afr gauge:

    My boost male and female screw part didn’t twist but 2-3 threads before not going any more. Tried to turn thinking it would budge but it def doesn’t.

    Boost is reading 0.0 constantly and I figure it has everything to do with this??
    I assume I have the proper nipple connected on the boost port

    Also, the craven flexpod won’t house my AEM x-series gauges. Is anyone else running those new slim profile x-series with a flexpod? It looks like I’ll have to shave some of the aluminum off if I want them to fit...not sure if I’m just missing something.

    Kinda pissed off at today’s turn of events.

    Yes that is the correct port. The one just after the intercooler coolant hose. Try blowing into the boost nipple. Do you hear air leaking due to it only threading on a few turns? Not sure why it's barely threading on but it looks like those are npt threads. If so then they are designed to have more resistance the more you thread it on. You can also use some Teflon tape to seal the threads. I would think you would still see some boost/vacuum even if it was leaking slightly. Check power and fuse.

    I think there are others who have installed those gauges in the flexpod. Google is your friend.

    I’m running the flexpod and Speedhut gauges. Gauges were disassembled and we used some all-thread to create “studs” that could use the deeper cylinders of the Cravenspeed holder.

    Yea, the threads thing I fixed, it’s the bezel piece that’s too large. My gauges are 52mm and the pods are as well.
    I’ve been googling images of others and see AEM gauges in them, just can’t tell if they are specifically the new “x-series” low profile ones.

    As for the boost gauge, I would think since it lights up and reads 0.0 and I could change the “warn” warning value, that everything works electrically. I’m at a loss right now. We’ll see.
