Just a reminder that if you want to leave me a note about your order or to double check I have it right, you can write it in the 'note to seller' section during checkout. I will see this note everytime I look at your order. :)

    Pics added for viewing.

Very sad day today. Today was the first "warm" day to install this decal on the truck. Extremely dissappointed unfortunately.

Decals are not cut to fit/scale. Some decals are too "thin" meaning they dont entirely cover the chrome/silver portion. Some dont even overlap at the edge.

Did the one wheel in the back and from a distance its okay, but fairly close (within 6-8ft) it is extremely noticeable. Not sure if i could get a refund or replacement.

Did the wet method and no matter what angle or amount of readjusting, the decal would not cover intended portions.

Will be removing the decal on the one wheel. I still have the rest of the unused decals. Dont know what to do at this point..

All of the decals are the same size, but if each decal is placed differently on your wheel, it can make them look as if they are different in size or not a good fit. Since this is a product with various corners, widths, curves, angles, etc., it is vital that the decal is properly placed or else it will expose chrome. This comes easier with practice, which is why we give extra decals in every order.

From what I can see in the picture you provided is that the area I circled in red is much higher than it is supposed to be, which shifts the entire decal. This causes an overlap in the area that is circled in red and it also causes chrome to show in the area that the upward red arrow is pointing. If the decal was placed a bit lower, it would shift the decal in the direction of the two downward red arrows, which would then cover the exposed chrome areas that the three red arrows point toward. The placement of the decal also causes the areas circled in blue to overlap the edges and expose the chrome where the two blue arrows are pointing. Overall, I think that it would make a huge difference if the decals were lowered a bit and slightly rotated toward the opposite direction.

The sides of the decal are almost exactly the same size as the chrome area it covers, therefore, if the sides of the decal are shifted the chrome will be exposed and it will be nearly impossible for the wings to properly align. Also, some areas of the decal are wider than other areas, so if you place a more narrow part of the decal in an area where the wider part is supposed to be placed, it will expose chrome making the decal appear too narrow.

You can always private message me if you want to try again and need more help.

I also included an upclose photo of a decal that I placed on a wheel as an example.

Just bought myself a set of matte black on eBay!

$30 for a well-reviewed and good looking decal vs. $700+ for new wheels... the choice was easy!

    Looking forward to install.

Came out good. I’m no perfectionist since there are a few bubbles but no one will be looking at my rims from 2 feet away. Great product, thanks again. Also all decals aligned perfectly. Tell everyone not to drink coffee beforehand and maybe grab a beer to keep their hands steady

I bought these a while ago. Long story short, I suck at putting these on. I blew through 5/6 spares. However, @SimplyMuggle provided high quality customer service. She was able to give me some guides and visual feedback with the pictures I sent of my poor placement, plus a crapton of spares because I'm bad at application. Ultimately my girlfriend applied them and she crushed it a chill pace over 2 hours in the desert sun. I installed KTJO 4x4's tailgate actuator kit while she was at it. Obligatory picture:

She also hooked me up with some awesome center caps and exterior decals:f1sDzxnNC4dosai7DS0zFQZgn8tSr5s0-DxOzfQd_af729a8b0a5f2aa79ce18ec54c92b64f4230da87.jpg

Solid customer service, stellar pricing, quality products!

I had a very similar experience to the one listed above. these decals could use more surface around the edges and at corners. The only way we were able to get the occasional one out of six even come close to looking decent was by trying to stretch the Decals and hopefully not ripping them or causing a crease to get it to sit right. Wet method or dry method it didn't matter. I wish you the best of luck trying to install these. Even most of the user shown example pictures on here have spots where you can see the Decals aren't lined up correctly and chrome is showing through or there are tears and creases in the decals.

Take your $30.00 and go flush it down the toilet of your house. You will have a much better experience than trying to install these correctly, having to give up after about an hour and a half when you don't have enough decals to finish it, and it looks awful. I ended up just throwing what I had left away and ripping off the few that didn't rip stretching them to cover the chrome correctly. (We almost made it to a whole two wheels!)

The seller seems nice but these don't seem to be designed well and aren't worth your time or frustration.

They turned out very well! There were a few of the skinny ends I had to stretch a little bit to cover, but overall, once you get the hang of it, they go fast and look great!

plasti dip emblems, TRD off road wheels, pro clips cell phone mount. 20 percent tint.
You have to really take your time to get these lined up correctly also you want to use the wet method and have a heat gun helps alot. It took me 6 hours to complete but im a perfectionist and took my time and went slow. They seem like they dont fit at times but the do. You have to make sure you place them correctly because if you dont the whole decal will be off.

That's excessively harsh, but I do agree that it feels like the decals just aren't the right size/shape. I ultimately failed at putting them on but my girlfriend had no issues. If you work with the seller, she'll work with you. I got a crapton of spares, in addition to the 6 she normally includes with the standard purchase.

Im interested once you get the color matched decal. Also, how much would the total come out to be if I bought the color matched for all four wheels and the TRD center cap inlay.?

I got mine on over the weekend. First warm enough day to do it!
I found they all fit very well. Getting them lined up perfectly to start is key. Some spots I had to stretch it to cover but it's vinyl. I had all four wheels done in just over an hour. Once you get the hang of it they go quickly. I didn't need to use a single extra piece.

    Thanks @SimplyMuggle
    I think it's a great product!

In its simplest form, vinyl is widely known as a material that is hard to work with. With that said, we are talking about a vinyl design that is unique in size by every mm. Without proper placement, you can be sure that it will be misplaced. This is no secret as it is something that I often stress throughout this thread.

As the seller, I try not to give the impression that these are an easy to ‘slap on’ decal. Instead, I try to give my honest opinion through my own experiences of trial and error before I was able to perfectly align them. These decals can be difficult to align at first, even for the experienced vinyl customer, which is why we not only provide extras in each order for free, but we also provide individualized customer service that will basically walk you through the steps based on your personal experience. As someone mentioned above, if you contact me for help I will gladly work with you to getting these on correctly.

I encourage customers to contact me directly with any issues or concerns before, during, or after application.

Also, it is important to note that if you live in an area that is near or below freezing at night, store your vinyl indoors at room temperature before applying during warmer afternoon temperatures. If the vinyl is colder than the recommended application temperature then it will be hard to work with, so it is important to keep your vinyl at room temperature prior to application.

The center cap inlays are completely customizable! Just leave a comment in the 'note to seller' section on Etsy or message me on eBay with your request. If we can make it work, we will do it for you at no extra cost!
