"MOD" would be a pretty loose way to describe this. Found the "something that was missing" to make the TRD-OR factory wheels 'perfect'.

    1. 60mm TRD Resin sticker off of EBAY, $14.95
    2. Use Flat-head screwdriver to un-clip factory plastic Toyota logo from center cap.

Sweet looking brother. I have done this also on my Tacoma. Did you have any other glues or epoxies you added to them! If not how well are they holding up? Surfing washes and all? Just wanting to know what to expect.

I recently did this mod, but the center cap on the TRDOR has a bit of a dome to it and the TRD cap is flat and fairly stiff. So the edges of mine seem to be sticking up sadly. Haven't seen anyone else have that issue on this site.

yeah my 18 OR is domed too and I cant see pulling off the wheels just to change center decal. does the decal come off on the OR without removing center cap?

You don't need to take the wheels off, the center cap just pulls right out with your hands. Just tug on it. The chrome Toyota logo is attached with 2 clips you can press on from the back side to remove it.

I have a love-hate relationship with the stock wheels but that actually makes a world of difference. Looks good.

Are yours actually following the dome profile? The adhesive is definitely strong, but no amount of pressing has made mine stick around the outside for more than a minute or so. I'm expecting the second I take it in the direct it'll get in there and ruin the adhesive.

They aren't too domed. It's the stock wheel for the 2017 DCSB TRD OR (same as yours, I believe). Did you get the 60mm logo sticker resin? After I got the silver plastic emblems off the caps, I did file down any plastic edges that were remaining where the clips inserted at.
