wasn't commenting on your instance only but it would be better if you keep the take off stock parts and include if you decide to sell later to realize full resale potential. For anyone keeping a stock truck the only way to maintain that exclusivity is to replace with Pro model factory parts.

If you decide to upgrade to suit your taste that's fine, just stating a modified truck, particularly a limited run model will likely depreciate more than an unmolested truck.

I did not even consider the Pro because they do not make a long box for the Pro.

an inch and a bit? maybe closer to 2. I dont have an exact measurement but parked side by side mine is definitely taller,

I only know this because my friend bought a pro at exactly the same time, and our trucks were delivered at the same time.

what i find weird is that the Pro is supposed to be an inch taller than a stock off road, but my tires are only an inch bigger than the stock pro tire size...

Well, ladies and gentlemen. I just put a down payment on a 2017 TRD Pro in Super White. I had to go all the way to Oregon to find one for MSRP within the next 6 months. I must have called 30-40 dealers in the past two days. Either way, it's done and the build date is the first week of March. Cannot wait! Thanks everyone for their input.

I went full circle -- starting with Super White, then to Cement and back to Super White. Both are great colors.

That's a great deal. I ended up buying it for $300 under MSRP. Much better than the $10k over MSRP all CA/AZ/NV dealers are asking.
