Looking for my first Taco. On the waiting list for a Pro.

Today I saw my first 2017 Pro and measured the the front wheel well height: 35-1/2". Compared it side by side to the 2017 TRD Off-Road: 35-1/4"

Rear Wheel well Height on the PRO: 36-1/4", the Off-Road: 36".

The Pro even had the KO2 LT265/75R16 (larger then the stock tire for this vehicle)

Verdict: The PRO does not have the advertised one inch lift .

I have also noted that the Pro does not come with the JBL Audio within their premium package, yet the Off-Road does.

I like the cement color option of the Pro, but purchasing that vehicle for the extra cash and not being able to lift the vehicle, beyond one inch (unless I gut all the high priced crap I just payed for) seems silly.

Very surprised in today's measurements. I was hoping there truly was a one inch lift advantage to work with, but there is not. I want the TRD PRO Cement color and leather with the tuned exhaust but I want all the TRD Off-Road options and premium JBL Audio: with a 3" lift.

I guess the TRD-OFF ROAD is the best choice.

If you can live with out the cemet color you might be better off purchasing the trd exhaust and some nice adjustable coilovers, would be much cheaper that way depending on the price you pay for the truck. As for the leather seats look up clazzio's on this site a lot of people have posted pics and they seem to fit very nicely.

Edit: Also welcome to the site, once you sift through the noise there is a lot of helpful writeups on this site and plenty of stuff to spend your hard earned money on :D

IMG_0940.jpg I was in the same situation last month. Debating between the two. I went with the OR. I already changed the exhaust out and went with the Clazzio seat covers. I have the premium Tech package. Since I plan on doing a 3" lift, it didn't make a whole lot of sense to me to pay extra for suspension I would just pull off. Btw, the Clazzio guys are very helpful. I ordered custom covers and still received them in a week. The customer service was outstanding!
