Those look great compared to stock. Definitely next on "to do" list.

I think plasti dip might be a better way to go if you are trying to retain resale value. but either way I really like the look! i hate the chrome

Looks really great man. How difficult was this to do? I've never plasti-dipped anything before.

This pic is after 1 year? So tempting haha. Did you have to cut the center caps to get them to fit at all?

It was actually really easy. I've done it on previous vehicles and have never had any issues. I didn't even take the wheels off the truck. I cut up some garbage bags and placed them behind the wheel to protect the brakes and then used about 1 can of dip per wheel. I also used a product called dip release from dipyourcar.com to protect the tires

Yup just over a year. And it survived a New York winter as well. I'm not sure what you mean by the center caps? Do you mean fitting them after painting them? I painted them on the wheel but they still come on and off easy.

They look good. I have been tossing around the idea for awhile now. And the cap in the center of the wheel with the red TRD logo. I assumed that you replaced the stock ones with these. I vaguely remember reading somewhere that some other people had to use a dremel to trim them up a bit to get them to fit.

    I'm doing this very soon.

would also like to know if it's matte or gloss.

I just bought a kit for wheels on dipyourcar.com for like $35+shipping. All sorts of color combos. Matte black is the one I ordered. I saw gloss on there too.
