Thank you sir, it does look great. I’m having a pro install mine as well. I can’t nail two boards together.

There are just lots of tips and tricks that a professional will know about. My hood graphic actually came with a crease in the vinyl. He was able to get the crease out with some magic and a heat gun.

Any outdoor vinyl you stick on your vehicle for a period of time will leave a residue when removed. It comes right off with some adhesive remover, though. I had a truck I did pest control out of for about 3 years before I removed all of the vinyl to sell the truck. There is no hurting the paint or leaving behind unremovable residue.

I had zero experience with vinyl before installing the extra wide version with the TRD graphic. It took me probably close to an hour and a half or two from start to finish. I may be biased but I think I did a pretty great job for never having done it before.
Just don't try to rush the process.

So...how far does the medium and long length come down. I have factory installed protective film on the hood...

Does the protective film cover your entire hood? If so, there shouldn't be any issue -- I installed the extra-wide+long version directly on top of my hood's protective film without any issues.

No. I guess it's about 6 inches wide without actually measuring it.

Oh, in that case, you could get a "long" version that includes an extension that covers the cowl. You would then simply fold/cut it to sit just above the protective film.

If you're not interested in the long versions that cover the cowl, then I guess we'll have to wait for the OP or others to provide specific measurements. Or, better yet, just email them with your question -- I think that they're probably willing to cut a custom decal for you with specific measurements to avoid your film.
