Probably not. Anything less than msrp will be dealers trying to get the 19’ pros off the lot to make way for the 2020s coming in, then it will be back to 3-4 thousand over msrp again.

It sounds bad, but I can't wait till the economy pops. Way too much stuff is highly over valued right now

YUP. Went to Midway Ford recently and saw a few Raptors. They marked it up to 80K some. Meanwhile a bit north.. Bradenton Ford has Raptors for 50K lol. Just as “loaded” as the ones in Miami. Crazy. Don’t get me started on the Civic Type R. Braman Honda sells them for 50K. Finance guy told me someone got one and is paying 800 a month lease. 36 month 12k miles.

People buy them which means dealers will continue to do this. Idiots. Idiots everywhere.

Even MSRP which is 35Kish is a NOPE from me. Better off paying that for an STI.

I want to know if the "desert air" snorkel guy still works for Toyota.

My buddy who works for Toyota said at the last region meeting they were informed to start discounting Pros, apparently Toyota overestimated demand on Pros and built a few too many, I know my dealer in AZ had 5 on the lot and the one here in IL has 3, all discounted off MSRP, guessing they wont make that error again for 2020.

$50k raptor? Must be a bare bones 800 package supercab model. I know they no longer command mark up pricing, Dad snagged his fully loaded 2018 802a packaged one for $68k last year, $74k MSRP, but that took a month of back and forth.

Interesting. I have no idea what the demand is. However, my dealer got 10 pros in and by the time I got down to pick up mine they were sold out. That was a couple weeks ago. However, if there is an overstock of them, either way they will have to get rid of pretty much as many 2019 everything’s as they can as I have on good basis the 2020s are hitting lots in the next few months.

That right there, when the Pro was exclusive / limited in number back in 15, not every dealer got one and most got 1 or 2. Think it was limited to 1500. Guessing you're CA region or another high sales area. Tacomas arent big here in IL and are so big / high volume in AZ that discounts are easy to be had. And yes 19s will be discounted but Toyota is good about production numbers to avoid massive discounts, how they maintain high resale, so wouldnt expect anything too crazy, but just a quick glance on cars.com, etc you can see dealers are oversaturated on Pros in most areas as compared to prior years.

Makes sense. Region is definitely a factor for sure. In quantity and price from what I’ve seen.

For sure, my dealer in Tucson, AZ would keep 80-100 Tacomas in stock at any given time, here in Chicago burbs of IL 20-30, lol. I like it though because its rare to see a Tacoma running around now that I'm back home, in AZ everyone and their mom had one, especially in Cement...
