Newbie taco owner here, was wondering if the stock TRD OR suspension on a 3rd gen is compatible with the TRD sport?
    TIA

They are the same truck, where the suspension is one of the few things that differentiates the two. So, yes they are compatable.

So which Taco trim did you get, and where is your suspension query headed?

All 3rd Gen suspensions are fundamentally identical. So the parts are interchangeable.

I just purchased a super white 2016 TRD sport about 3 weeks ago. Was looking into lifting it eventually and going with the wescott designs down the road because they claim that there’s no trimming needed supposedly for the OR suspension to fit 33’s.

Not familiar with wescott designs. As for 33" and no trimming, you might have some issues if you run 285s. You might get lucky.

If you go with 255s, you can run them without a lift and still not rub.

Very informative clip DavesTaco68 thank you
That really explained a ton for me. The only off road driving I’ll be doing is on the beach chasing stripers. Maybe just leveling my taco would be more than sufficient

Thanks for the suggestion on the 255s I’ll have to do some more research on that
