TRD OR Wheel Vinyl

i dont know if the transfer tape made it any easier to apply them! i did it without starting with one corner and pulling as im sticking it on, the vinyl is flexible enough to stretch a bit as i applied it and covered the whole area where your showing the gaps! i re-did these drawings multiple times to get this gap taking care off but found the easiest thing to do is pull it a bit and voila! no gaps.

 

Yup....totally agree. I did the two wheels on the driver's side first to see how it looked. When I did the passenger side, I did the same thing and it worked much better!

 

I like these a lot. I drive a 2017 TRD Sport..... Possible for you to do the same thing for the TRD Sport wheels?

 

TRDThis I got the pattern from sxe4533, which I know took him some time to come up with. I'd be happy to print some up if someone could come up with the pattern, but I'm at a loss for time to undertake that part of it :-(

 

I assumed there was a decent amount of time put in to get the template just right. I have ZERO experience with those types of programs. Thank you for the response. I really appreciate it!

 

My wife has one of those Cricut things in her craft room, it collects dust like the exercise bike and my testies in her purse...is there a file/pattern I could maybe get and try myself? I have some vinyl carbon fiber print I could try it on.

 

Several people have mentioned building these for the TRD Sport wheels. Please put me on the list for a set of those. I would be all over that. Thx!

 

Looks really good I don't like the way it looks stock but don't buy new wheels. I'm in if you decide to sell them.

My sister is going to make these and sell them. I pm’d @sxe4533 and he is going to send me the file to send on to her on Monday.

If you want some let me know. I am going to take care of the interest and orders, etc. It might be a week or so til she gets some done. She’s a single, working mom. But she already does vinyl writing signs as a side gig. Sticks quotes on wood and stuff. So she’s excited to do these.

Also if you’re interested in other colors she can do those.

How much would you all pay for these?

She is also going to start working on a set for the sport. I’m pressuring her to get those done ASAP. Because I want them for my truck. Haha.

So sister cut some on some scrap vinyl she had. But it’s not the outdoor stuff. She should be getting the outdoor stuff this weekend and will start cutting sets. Here is a pic of the set. They look good. The first set will go out to someone I’ve already talked with to make sure they’re a good fit before we start selling them. So be patient. But by mid December or earlier I’m sure these will be ready to go!!

And should have Sport option by then too!!
