I've used mine while camping to plug in a TV and use the tailgate as a table. A couple of chairs facing the TV/tailgate and we watched the race.

Used it twice this year for a TV while tailgating at a Dallas Cowboys game and a Texas Tech game. It works great for tailgating watching football games.

Is there a power outlet inside the cab or just in the bed. If inside is it a 3-prong (w/ground) or just 2- prong. I'm getting my 2006 d-cab Off-road next week.

Only know of the one out in the back of the bed. You can set one up though, I am sure.
