To each their own on opinions. I’m not trying to get into a debate. I’ve had 4 Tacomas built with 4 different lifts. This lift is on my 14 Baja as this was essentially the pro before 2015. This lift....at least for me is excellent in every way and blows the others away. Yes there are better lifts, I’m not trying to say this is the best out there. However, for the price you guys say it’s being offered......pound for pound, I say it is.

Interesting. Haven't been in a 3rd Gen Pro so I can't compare, but my wife loves the way my truck rides after I put the Pro setup on the 2015. So much better than the stock Off Road suspension. I'm almost tempted to buy another set at this price and install them in 10 years when this set's worn out.

For anyone that installed this on a 2nd gen... how long did it take for the shocks to settle?

I have a 2014 SR5 DC and am worried about ending up nose high with the kit. Are you a Pro from the factory? Level when new but nose high at 20k miles? Or you installed at 20k and ended up nose high?

I bought my truck with 20k and on level ground it sagged in the rear. I would advise you to factor a progressive AAL in the cost or a full pack like Dakars if you’re carrying weight. It was the first mod I did when I bought my pro.

Hey everyone, longtime reader as a guest and first time posting. I have been sitting at work reading this thread along with several others, and I think I have decided to go with the TRD Pro kit. I have a 2013 sport 4x4, and I have a couple of questions (Some I think are already answered in the previous replies but cannot hurt to ask again):

Will the truck sit level with the TRD Pro kit PTR13-35150?
What's the typical cost of dealer install and alignment (for warranty purposes)?
What is the max/best size tire I could run for load range C without rubbing, trimming, or removing the splash guards? Will 265/70/17 be where I max out?
I also am planning on picking up a set of the PRO headlights, is install really as simple as swapping the assembly with my current ones on the sport? Also, will my headlights need to be adjusted to accommodate the 1.75" lift in the front?

Any help y'all can offer is much appreciated!

The truck will sit level after the lift , as it sits with a little rake when stock.

If you don’t want to trim and want flaps, yes 265’s is where you’ll be at.

Headlights are as easy as it seems....a few screws and tabs. As far as adjusting, there may be some minor adjustments but they are easy. It’s just a screw to adjust up and down aim on the bulb.

Awesome, that's what I was hoping for on the lift kit.
As far as the tire size, does removing the guards really make that big of a difference?
Also did not know about the screw for adjusting, so that should be simple!
I've noticed you are one of the most knowledgeable on the forum, any idea where I can look for a good price on the Pro kit?

Thank you, removing the guards with bigger/wider tires will shoot more dirt/mud/snow etc up the sides. Personally I don’t like the look anyway so they were always the first to come off.
As far as the Trd pro kit.....your in luck. It’s a $1500 kit. There is a thread I’ll try and track down for you that they’ve posted 2 different dealers selling it for $650......yes $650. I’m thinking of buying another one as a spare.

I’m assuming everything does come with the kit.......I believe I recall that very topic coming up a few short pages into the thread. I run 285/70/17’s......in involves very very very minor trimming. (To the thin plastic of the front inner part of the wheel well).......very minor
