    Hi all,

Just got a TRD Pro and am looking towards next summer already. I plan to add a shell (~250#), and I regularly tow a boat in the summer (~500# tongue weight).

Would it be a good idea to add a leaf? Or do you think the stock set-up will handle it? Any recommendations?

    Thanks!

The stock setup will sag. The AAL will maintain stock or slightly higher than stock with the extra weight (an inch with the extra weight?). It will probably have a little more rake than stock. As long as you remove the overload it won't be super high. I feel like a 3 leaf AAL will work perfectly fine for your goal.

3 leaf AAL. I installed the wheelers progressive 3 leaf last night. Kept the overload it. But you could remove it. Rides great.
