Looks like Toyota was going to run the ISO dynamic (IS0-Dy-nam-ic) in the 6G 4R Pro, until the criticism of those seats was made vocal.

There an interior illustration on the 4R preview that shows engineers looking over the interior and front seats, as if the illustration was to hype up the iso-ds.

Also Pros are now so expensive Cardi B will be grinding on a TRD Pro in her next video.

I'm just wondering where they got that consumer research from. I remember getting those surveys constantly (especially since at one point I was getting a new truck every year), the power tailgate was on there along with some other lifestyle things which you can see now transcended into the new gen but I don't remember anything about gimmicky suspension seats and I'm willing most would opt out of them if they could, just like the stupid desert snorkel they pushed for a bit no one asked for and those PROs sat and sat and sat.

The preview video or the Toyota website. The seats shown are regular seats, maybe it wasn't the Pro definitely a 6G. Try Toyota news room or what ever the site is called.

No idea, I guess people asking for more suspension travel combined with more interior comfort is what spawned the idea.

It's a cool looking seat as far as design goes, just takes up more room and I don't want to pay for them.

I have been buying Toyota trucks and SUVs for myself and my family for 20 years. No one has EVER asked me for my opinion.

Yeh as expected it seems the non hybrid and hybrid 4cyls are a home run for Tacomas.

Interesting his comments about the Chevy. Like an afterthought. But, I am a GM refugee and am always tickled about comments like that.

I am not going to lie I like Chevrolet. Why did you leave GM for Toyota? I also love my tacoma in unfortunate event about 8 months ago I am now in search of a new vehicle which is just a crap time to be looking. Also the recalls they have right now don't look good for GM. I love the look of the Pro terra but that price tag is a hard pill to swallow when you can get that Silverado 1500 zr2 for a tad more and have more back seat and towing.

Two POS GM products in a row. Only brand I will not consider. Switched to Toyota. Made me wealthy compared to that other one. Repair costs on my two Toyota products has been near zero.

Edit: Oops, forgot about the Owl Gored cat on the previous one. So I lied.
