that makes sense my dad has Silverado and a 13 avalanche haven't had any major issue. But from everything I have read I was wondering.

yes but price wise if going to pay that for the trd pro better off to just pay a bit more and get more towing and more cabin space especially with the crappy back seat leg room.

We all have our data points to consider. You should go with whatever yours are. My conclusion isn't any more valid than yours other than to me.

not going to lie that made me laugh. knowing what I paid brand new for my 2011 Tacoma off road and what I got to pay now. I am just feeling every inch of the rod they shoving up in. I wished they would have used a little extra lube first and made me feel a little more special. Guess that is what the shiny new seat is for to comfort the rear after the big rip they put in it. lol

Also I hear you on the repair costs of your Toyota. My 2011 never had an issue ran like a champ and had no repair needed ever outside the headlight bulb.

    Just starting.
I keep seeing Ranger Raptors brought up as a cheaper option, but are they actually for sale at anywhere near the list price? Any listings for them I see are 10-20k above 57,000....

Frankly I'm kind of glad the prices are so high. Makes me content with what I have.

Or that they will pay $20,000 over list and then immediately have it ceramic coated before they do several Instagram photo shoots.

I don’t think a few whales represent an important segment of the buying market that Toyota should be chasing.

And I don’t think showing commercials of trucks you can’t buy or even see at a dealership at tremendous markup is going to draw the average Tacoma buyer.

It’s like going on a date with a chick who catfished you pictures of Kate Beckinsale in her 20s and then you show up and it’s Lena Dunham.
