Absolutely no need the pro badge. Just keep as it is. Pro is beautiful without a doubt though. While I still keen on my offroad as long as it has the rear locker.

My 2013 was totaled by a moron in 2016 (still salty 5 years later) and the sunroof was a requirement. I checked every body I had to check to get a sunroof and a stick. I really, really wanted a Pro in cement but the non-sunroof was a non-starter. 2018 with Calvary Blue would have been a tougher decision, but 2019-on I’d have just gone Pro and been done with it. I’d probably get a new Pro now if I had to get a new truck, but those debossed bedsides annoy me.

Yes, they look terrible in my opinion. If I were to get a new pro, first thing would be new bedsides without that on them.

That is funny. Imagine how stupid someone had to be to downgrade a perfectly good Mazda like that.

My OR is just about a close to a pro as you can get … all OEM parts too. The only things missing are the badges, the red stitching in the leather seats, the larger sway bar and leaf springs. I would have gotten the Pro if they made one with a longbed but they don’t so I sorta made my own. I will not put Pro badging on mine because it’s not a pro but if others want to do that, it’s their truck.

I'm not trying to pose, I personally like the way the badges look. Didn't put a PRO one on as it's a sport & kept it as such. Some people pull all their stuff off, others go crazy with stickers & badging. It's what makes the world go around in my opinion. Go to a liquor store & look at the wine & whiskey selection...different tastes for different folks in everything in life:cheers:
Why do they make Tacoma's in different colors? Because I don't like black (except in the showroom)

So this is my first Tacoma, I have an SR 4x4, as an outsider I don’t understand why anyone cares about the badges. Non Tacoma people don’t know what at TRD pro is. If you actually bought a pro, I’m guessing it wasn’t to get the badges so as long as they didn’t take them off your truck what’s it matter? My last 2 vehicles were a Gladiator, I didn’t understand why rubicon owners cared about fake ones and a SVT Lightning where I didn’t care if someone put a fake Lightning badge on. Not like the badge gave the Jeep lockers or the F-150 a supercharger. :mudding:

Not quite the same analogy my friend. Your liquor store example would be more appropriate if you suggested people buy Jim Beam and transfer into a Woodford Reserve bottle. Your post started as “posing” then inexplicably changed to different options. We already have that with SR5’s, OR, Pro, etc…

Correct Bert. I’d like to add another thought as I decided on a model and that’s the impact of insurance claim compensation for a Pro vehicle versus a lower model with mods. Probably won’t get what you put into it versus the stock Pro.

Wow, are you saying your truck, with a 6 inch rough country lift, performs better than a stock pro?
