Ugh, so instead of a proper satoshi, they plaster the Toyota word on the existing protruding grille slat:

    tundra+grille_5be0aa1d160cbf005a9e9ea40922579ce544309a.jpg

    taco+grille_0d4b7f031ea54ab83f8172d6e0d57f7c8ba30c11.jpg

Taco does NOT have BHLM. Looks like a TRD OR (black mirror, no skewp) with painted grille.

I'm so sick of hearing about Icon... I'd rather run on bump stops than run their suspension.

Worthy offroad package? 2010+ 4Runner Trail is a pretty good platform. .

I just was saying the first suspension I could think of. In all honesty I would be happy with some upgraded bilstein shocks.

The digressive valving of the Icons make them good off-road, but stiff and jarring on pavement. However, body roll and brake dive are reduced significantly also.

^Nope. All the pictures that come up show the old T/X Pro TRD package, which is basically TRD Off Road with the TRD fake beadlock wheels and TRD catback exhaust "pre-bundled".

Personal standards. I'm not a fan over overpriced suspension setups and more so I'm not a fan of lets say "business practices".

Omg that would be awesome, any suspension upgrade with a super. Would be an awesome option for the v6 taco as well. Now that would be a TRD pro package!

    Aren't they discontinuing the FJ?

Anyway, that Tundra looked cool but I agree with 08WhiteTRD that it will mostly be superficial and maybe have some intake/exhaust work. In order to take on a SVT product, a company is going to have to spend time and much R&D to do so, then be ready for a rebuttal from Ford. Many others have come close to the Lighting and Raptor but haven't really succeeded on taking one down. The Raptor is a bad b*tch.

What ever happen to the Tacoma V8 Concept? That would of been easy for Toyota yet they never pulled the trigger. The Taco here is most likely going to try to steal the attention away from the new Colorado coming out.

We will see what happens for the Super Bowl commercials...

    Hey All,

    New to the board.
    Just caught this video today.

So I downloaded the video and watched it frame for frame.
Did anyone else notice what's written on the screen when a vehicle is shown?

    Prototypes shown

So these might not even be the production models.
