TRD PRO faux grills group buy! ***ROUND 11 CLOSED***

Hi everyone! I have been working with a supplier to bring in a batch of TRD PRO faux grills for 2nd gen (2012-2015 only) Tacoma’s.

I received the first one and installed it on my own truck. I don’t have a comparison to the OEM one, but I can tell you that the quality of this part is superb.

The ‘Toyota’ lettering (included in the kit) attaches on the back side with a few screws and the rest of the installation is straight forward.

I am able to offer these for $159 shipped to lower 48 only (post COVID-19 might change that) if we can get 10 or more people to buy in!

I like that you can attach your current color matched outer piece, very nice. I purchased one for my '05 and had to paint it; I also had to bolt on the top two projections, which bolts pass through to attach to the truck. I think is the best grill yet.

This is one of the main reasons why I decided to try it out. Being able to just swap the outer trim is great, no mods required. Total time for the install was maybe 20 mins.

 

Those top two projections aren't thick enough on mine, bolt wouldn't squeeze it tight and hold it in place so I had to add an additional washer.

 

Hmm, yeah this one was very easy to install.
