Craigslist? I hope some dumb bastard did not buy a TRD pro with suspension way overpriced and then replace it with something else? If so they should have just bought an off road for 10k less and upgraded the suspension.

Good score for you either way...

How's the ride quality? Firmer or softer than stock TRDOR suspension?

I don't have any off road time on this setup yet but the truck does feel more solid on the pavement, I'd like to hit some trails this weekend.

How are the Pro's getting 1" of lift in the rear over the '16's?

I also have the same TRD OR 4x4 Access in white and am looking for similar set-up but have not decided on a kit yet. Does this set-up eliminate or at least reduce the body roll? I drive 90% on smooth fast paved roads with many turns and the body roll is a bit to much for my liking. I also don't like the excessive dipping when stopping or accelerating. How does the your set-up compare to the stock OR suspension in this regard? Thanks!

After installing the rear shocks, are you seeing a 1 inch lift in the rear like on the front? I'm guessing you did as it looks like there is still a little rake on the truck. I was curious about this because the TRD Pro is 1 inch taller in the front and rear but they use the same leaf springs as the TRD OR so the lift must come from the shock itself. Is that true? Also, what's the overall ride quality now with the Foxs all the way around? Compared to the Bilsteins?
The truck looks sick! I'm looking to add the TRD Shocks on my truck so I'm curious what your overall impression is. Thanks!

Find a dealer that has a TRD Pro and go for a test drive, huge difference. The truck feels so much better with the body roll and excessive dipping, very solid with the TRD Pro Fox shocks. The wider stance with the TRD Pro wheels might help a bit with the body roll as well. I would have held out and bought the Tacoma TRD Pro but don't like the double cab and need the long bed.

I didn't do a before and after measurement in the back after replacing the shocks but it does appear taller. I did take before and after measurements in the front after replacing the shocks and did get a 1" lift. The truck rides so much better and feels more solid adding the TRD Pro snocks, no comparison.

I don't mean to reign on your parade. No hate here, seriously. Just so you know though, those TRD pro Fox rears are literally just rebadges with red dust boots over them whereas the Fox's have a bare shock shaft and are full silver with black markings on it. They are still nice regardless.

I hope you didn't pay too much for them. I had those exact same ones on my truck at one point, but didn't like how the fixed resi was mounted to the bottom of the shock not the top. If you like to go wheeling those resi's could become a potential damage point, which is why I opted for a remote mount resi version direct fit (not an advertised OE fitment) on mine.

Back when I first installed them. I believe it was the only picture I snapped of them at the time. The shaft faces upwards into the upper shock mounting point.

No worries on the rain here, I am very good with the purchase. The reservoir on my shocks mount a little different from yours but still on the bottom, not sure if the valving is the same.

Oh the valving may be very different indeed. I personally don't own them anymore as I went with the remote resi mount version of a generic non OE version they have available. Either way a huge step up over stock and I know you feel the difference if you are a wheeler. I just hope they are rebuildable like the Fox non TRD version they sell is.

How did it ride with just the front shocks/springs replaced? I would really like to upgrade to stiffer springs to control lean and dive. I'll look into coilovers when the time comes.

I can't see how the rear shocks could lift the rear of the truck. Since no measurement was taken, I inclined to think there was no additional lift. Since the truck has a notable rake, I think a 1" lift in front would push it more toward level (like a leveling kit).

Not sure if these are rebuildable, it would be nice if they were.
