    I can vouch for this. I had an aftermarket garnish that I purchased from another vendor and after a couple of miles driving I immediately got the "clean sensor" message and the PCS light stayed on. I drove around 1,000 miles with it thinking the sensor would re-calibrate....it never did. I purchased the OEM garnish from thetacogarage.com and it fit perfect. I've driven over 1,000 miles since the install and I haven't had any problems since, even through heavy rain (no snow in Florida). The Taco Garage is LEGIT!!!

    I've had my 2018 TRD for a year now and I've always thought about sticking a Pro grille on.
    This thread seems to answer a few questions and your video is very informative thanks, ordered a Pro grille with the aftermarket garnish from tacogarage.com just today. as far as garnish,a cheap piece of smoked plexi glass and some black hardware probably would work. What Toyota is doing is crazy. and they are missing a perfect time to make some doe. they could actually be selling grilles, (calibrations to make it official) installing them.

    Look at that page again, see the drop downs for each field. For example the garnish defaults to OE which is around 150.00.if you don't need garnish select nothing your grill will be 150.00. Your 17 does not use the garnish.
    But since they are sold out just be patient they will be back. Just be ready to pounce when they are.

    you need to select lettering color and "no thanks" to the garnish if you do not have TSS/Radar - remember to add discount then select add to cart/purchase - then go to checkout - the proper discounted price will show.

    6 months ago I purchased a genuine Toyota TRD Pro grill and garnish from a Toyota dealership in GA. The grill was $255 and the garnish was $85. I used their online order page from their service department. My truck is a SR5 and they never asked me about my truck info or vin. I don’t remember the dealership but I just did a google search until I found a dealership that allowed online purchases. It was delivered to my home in about 5 days from order.
    I also had the radar sensor recall completed at my local Toyota dealer after the install. All was done and they didn’t ask me any questions. Just brought back the keys and explained what they did.

    Spent $100 on the grill and $30 on the garnish via EBay and Amazon, respectively. Never had an issue in 15,000 miles and the dealer did the recall on my SR5 without issue as well. This was on my 2019 Tacoma.
