@Rock-N-Roll The garnish will more than likely be with light gray lines like mine. I emailed them after I received mine and they said all of them they sell are like that.

Thanks man! Where did you source that 65% tint from? I did a quick search and it seems like you have to go to a tint shop or order way more tint than anyone would need for a simple garnish project.

I wonder, has anyone tried to just take a sharpie pen to the silver part of the garnish? I was thinking about doing that to mine, but since I’ve had zero issues with my TSS, I also think maybe it’s best to just leave it be.

I've been wondering about this all day. I might try it but I might add tint instead.

Ok so the TSS sensor is essentially radar. The garnish is plastic and that doesn't block the radar. We know that tiny doesn't seem to interfere with it either. I'm considering adding some plastidip. That should work right?

Hmmmm, I just ordered one from ToyotaProShop yesterday. Wonder if it comes with the black TSS Garnish as pictured on the site?

So far the sensor seems to work with the garnish plastidipped.

Has option to order OEM garnish, if you ordered OEM it will be the right color, if not, silver..

I searched for awhile, OEM was the only one with the non silver color.

Thank you, I ordered OEM and Black Letters so I should be good to go.

I just noticed the price difference there for OEM vs OEM style. Either they are screwing up and selling their back stock of them for too cheap or they are selling you fake OEM. They are selling the OEM for the old $50 price, not the current $300 price. You may get a non OEM one.

If not, it may be a good place to source OEM ones while they last.

I will let you know what arrives, all images on the site show OEM not silver. Fake OEM is okay if the color is right and they work.

Well OEM use to be cheap ($50), like last July is how long ago it went up. Could just be old photos.

Looks like mine shipped with the silver Garnish and not black. Sent an email and will look into using tint if they don't replace it.

I hot mine with plastidip and it still functions. I did a piss poor job though because the garnish was installed and I sprayed too close to the garnish. I'll need to redo it when I have more time.

All we have around here is 35% tint, wonder how that will look or if I should order 65%

So thebgrill is installed and I used the window tint to darken the Grey garnish and it turned out great. I am also very happy with the light kit as it included everything including the fuse tap for the install. Made my son turn the wrenches since it is his baby. Love quality time.
