Got my grill and installed it tonight. Took a chance on the aftermarket garnish. Hope I don't get any error messages.

Good stuff by The Taco Garage!

Grill arrived today. Great price, well packaged, looks great, and I could not find a single flaw. However, what is the deal with these melted pins on the back which are preventing me from removing the plate to install the sensor garnish?

That's standard for these. Just give them a couple taps with the back of a screwdriver and they'll pop free.

IMG_20190502_071109566_HDR.jpg Ordered a pro grill and factory garnish and it came in flawless condition and 40 minutes later and done. Perfect fit, finish and no lights of any kind, thanks Freshmexicantaco. It was a complete finish to our build which included 5100s, highest setting, 1/4 shim, ecgs clamshell bushing, SEMA Pro wheels, Toyo open country at2 SL rated tires, TRD pro skid plate, Clazzios and remote start from N2designs. Everything went perfect! This build was for my amazing son. His is the mag grey 18 dcsb.

Received my grille today. As others have stated, it arrived packaged well with no blemishes. Looks awesome and I can't wait to get my truck to install it. A+ product for the price!

Thanks for the tip. I trimmed a bit of the melted plastic with a utility knife and it came right out. This grill really is excellent quality and clean with attention to detail. I have seen some others that were a lot less refined. I would also give A++. Top Quality product.

Mine was really clean too. No complaints. With the $50 jpgenuine OEM garnish I've had no errors in a couple hundred miles. I did install a washer under the top bolt to tilt it up ever so slightly.

Good to hear no issues with that garnish. I should be installing this week after I take delivery of my truck.

It will be perfect and I have both OEM grill and garnish and one from FreshMexicanTaco for my Son's truck. Both are perfect with no issues. The only difference is the finish is not as shinny as the OEM. I kinda like the finish on my Son's grill.
