TRD pro grill on my SR5?

Hey everyone! I was just wondering if this grill would fit on my 2022 Tacoma SR5. It’s the cheapest option I can find and I just wanna make sure it’s compatible

Have you used this one? Was it a pain to put on your SR5?

 

A ton of folks have put them on. Maybe not from that seller but the cheap made in China ones. I put an Amazon one on my 2022 SR5 but I painted the letters bronze to match the wheels I have on mine and I didn't put the silly lights in.

 

I need matte black to finish blacking it out. Do you happen to have the link to the one you bought?

I also had a super hard time finding the SR5, Tacoma, and V6 matte black emblem overlay

 

The exact one I got is not on Amazon anymore but all the cheap ones are the same.

 

Nothing wrong with the Pro grill they are nice but very common - take a look at some other choices you may like.
And yeah - no raptor lights - you have a Taco not a Ford.

both of those are good looking, wondering if any issues with the sensor mounting?

the pro grill is so "everywhere", you can buy them at the mall

Yeah I didn’t really want the lights just looking for cheaper but solid options. I like that one you sent for sure! I guess they’re all kinda universal or what? I’d hate to buy one and it not fit

 

yeah I think I definitely like that first linked one more than the actual trd pro grill, do you know if there’s any issues with the sensor placement?

 

I got pro grille from Amazon years ago.

I bought it for 400 at the time. Now they sell little bit cheaper. About 250.

Yeah I like the KOK grill too but I already changed out my grill with the X-trek so I guess I will stick with it - for now anyway. I had no issue with the TSS with the x-trek so can't speak to the KOK but can't see why it would be a problem. This is a question though that seems to have a whole range of different results for different people from no issue like me to people who claim it's spotty to it didn't work and then it did to they had to have the dealer re-calibrate. Again I had no issue and then I lifted her and still no issue. Sometimes I wonder if it is down to if it's how the person who is installing the new grill and re-installing the TSS does the install. Are they not careful and tilt the TSS too much up or down, or get it cock eyed somehow? I don't know but mine went in the way it was supposed to and worked just like it did in the stock cheese rater grill.

 

Awesome, thanks! Yeah I'm sure it all depends on how careful the person installing is. the KOK grill has the option for the tss sensor garnish so I'm sure it will work on there. That is definitely the one i'll end up getting. Just gotta find the time to install it, hoping to find some type of tutorial haha

 

I might swap my faux pro for either one of these they look good.

 

Plenty of YouTube vids on it. It's not hard just work gently to avoid cracking or breaking anything.
