    so the only thing holding my grille is the plastic tabs that are prone to breaking!??!?!?!....where the hell is toyota's quality control at?!?!?!

    There's ~14 of them and most of the ones that are breaking are due to poor packaging in shipping. It used to be just wrapped in bubble wrap and thrown into a box where it was loose and bounced around. Now the tabs are stuck into a cardboard insert that fits tightly into the box so that the grill doesn't slide around inside it. It looks like that helped a lot with the broken tabs.

    I installed one that had two broken tabs that I fixed with loctite. It feels super secure and I don't have any concerns nor have I had any issues. Others have installed grills with 1-3 broken tabs that were completely gone and I haven't heard of any issues. I wouldn't be too worried about it
