Just got mine from a guy out of Chino CA. 150 shipped, got here in 5 days looks good, packaged well, nothing broke but I noticed the mold on the second "T" is a little high causing the actual letter to rock or teeter totter . I will need to sand down the residual mold I don't know what you call it to make it sit better. Photo attached

I got the one with individual letters. I got to say, I think a year from now we will be seeing a lot of trucks looking like "OYOTA", "TYTA" etc.

Do you guys really feel these will last the life of the truck? Power car wash, letters all over. I'm going to find some sort of epoxy or glue.

FYI to all on the fence. Tape is the only thing that's holding the letters in place. The letters don't "snap" into place. The two piece model would be the best. 150 bucks, not bad.

Can you show us your fake TRD Pro grille on your RAV4? Interested on how you made this work...
Also, have you personally seen an OEM vs Fake TRD Pro grille side by side with your own eyes? Just curious, cuz if you have, you would have easily noticed that the fake grille is much more matte black than the OEM grille.
    Thanks for your input tho

I have one from China and it looks pretty sweet to me. Thanks for your input though.

I haven't seen any that look fake, including the one I have purchased, and I've read the entire thread.

I noticed that on mine too, Dremel to the rescue! lol

As far as the pegs on the letters go, I figured I'd add some plastic epoxy or something to give me piece of mind...that or take the 3M tape off and use Gorilla glue to secure the letters, not sure which way to go yet.

The sad thing is when guys post pics of their replica grill.
“Little crooked or little off but looks good. For the price can’t beat it.
This is just false. The guy before us Chad says his T is off and that’s just what he noticed.
I have seen the OEM and the plastic is literally a different black. The letters are a different shade.
I understand wanting to save a buck, but let’s not pretend that everyone is getting exact replicas for 140$, or that people spending money on quality OEM parts are foolish or wasting money.
You get what you pay for, these are 30-40k trucks.
A lot of guys are getting low quality fakes that look ridiculous. Just my opinion.
Let’s see how they hold up.

Or the guy posting right before me with epoxy and a fucking dremmel gun.
Are you kidding me. OEM quality?
Call your local dealer they will tell you the OEM grill, along with several other TRD and Toyota components are made right here in the United States.

Cool story, bro. Unwad your panties and look away if the grills bother you so much.

    Haha it’s not the grill.
It’s the fools saying it’s OEM quality.
Just noticed you’re the clown with the dremmel and epoxy. Good luck with that and your fake grill.

I was going to get the fake grill because I don't think I am cool enough for a real one.

    It’s not your purchase.
It’s the comments about them being of OEM quality.

Oh boy now it’s about being “cool”
Wanting quality OEM components means you want to be cool?
    This is getting ridiculous.
