Okay so I gotta know, where is everybody getting them from? The only ones I've seen for sale are on eBay and they average $400 for each insert. I mean WHOA! that's just the insert, and it's injection blown plastic. Am I to assume everyone is just making the $400 change or is there a cheaper source out there somewhere? TIA

    Try the dealership.
They're probably more. But you can always try.

From my salesman the other day: "Just went to parts and it's about $499 for that insert." & "It's not worth it for the grille"

I don't know what to tell ya man. I wish they made TRD pro grilles for 1st gens :anonymous:

I was at the dealership the other day to replace my mom's original touchscreen stereo on her '14 NISSAN Altima. The screen cracked so I asked if they could replace the screen.
They replied: "you can't just replace the cracked screen, you have to replace the whole unit"
Then offered me to replace it for $3,400.
    Forget. That.

Bought mine at the dealer I bought my truck from, sent them an email thu their website asking them if they would price match the best price ($350)I found from a online dealer.
They said they normally won't do that, but will, since I bought the truck from them.

Better they make the sale then another dealer!

I suggest you do the same.
